They are all our favorite
Everything we sell is made entirely from scratch here on 19th Street in Brooklyn. From scratch means we process all of our ingredients ourselves. From milling whole grains to bottling, every step of production occurs here in our one room operation. We select our ingredients from local producers most importantly and from organic sources, second. All of our grains are sourced from NY farms; most are grown by our farmer Thor.

Simple and natural is good. So we don’t use any coloring, additives, extracts, or fancy filtering to alter our spirits. We let the result of our ingredients and process be the flavor of our spirits.

Our ingredients:
Grains (and occasionally fruit)
Water
Yeast
Yeast nutrient
Enzymes
Oak barrels (for our whiskey)
Juniper, lemon, rosemary, ginger, and grapefruit (for our gin)

Glorious Gin
Our original gin recipe. Distilled from wheat grown in upstate New York. We redistill our base spirit in the presence of juniper, lemon, rosemary, ginger, and grapefruit.

77 Whiskey – Distilled from New York Wheat (previously known as Black Wax)
This whiskey is produced the same way we make our wheat base spirit for our gin. That means we distill the grain in a manner to retain the character of the wheat. That flavor is then matched with the contribution of the barrel as it matures here in our space.
Distilled from 100% wheat, aged a minimum of 4 months in new American Oak

77 Whiskey – Distilled from Local Rye and Corn (previously known as White Wax)
Our 2nd whiskey is produced very much like the black wax whiskey, except we ferment a mash of rye and corn, rather than wheat. This grain combination benefits from some additional time in oak, so it tends to be a little older than the black wax.
Distilled from 90% rye and 10% corn, aged a minimum of 7 months in new American Oak

77 Whiskey – Selection for 2011 Barrel one
Our selection for 2011 is the result of our very first barrel of whiskey. The single barrel produced a total of 169 bottles which we numbered individually. With a notably different character than our “white wax” whiskey owing to oak from a different cooperage.
Distilled from 90% rye and 10% corn, aged over 12 months in new American Oak
