Everything we sell is made entirely from scratch here on 19th Street in Brooklyn. From scratch means from milling whole grains to bottling, every step of production is performed here by our people. We select our ingredients from local producers most importantly and from organic sources, second. All of our grains are sourced from NY farms; most are grown by our farmer Thor.
Simple and natural is good. So we don’t use any coloring, additives, extracts, or fancy filtering to alter our spirits. We let the result of our ingredients and process be the flavor of our spirits.

Project No. 1: Straight Bourbon, Wheated, Bottled in Bond
Our Project series was made in celebration of our first opportunity to use malted New York grown grains, which happened in 2012. Lucky for us, our new friends at Valley Malt in Hadley, Massachusetts had built a system large enough to support our malted grain wishes. Project No. 1 was fermented from a mash of 60% corn, 20% red wheat, and 20% malted barley. We distilled it twice, up to about 150 proof, before aging in 53 gallon barrels for 4 years. Bottled at 100 proof, this full flavored bourbon features notes of cherry fruit, cinnamon, vanilla, and caramel.
77 Whiskey – Distilled from Local Rye and Corn
Local Rye & Corn is distilled on a Coffey style pot still which produces a cleaner, softer spirit in a single pass. We distill rye and corn mashes separately and blend them after maturation. Rye is a brash spirit, with rich spicy notes. Our methods tone down rye’s intensity, but retain its characteristic style and full flavor.
Distilled from 90% rye, 10% corn, aged in new American oak.
77 Whiskey – Distilled from New York Wheat
New York Wheat is distilled cleaner than more typical whiskeys. This method highlights the beauty of using wheat in a mash bill: a smoother, more gentle base lets the intense oak-contributed flavors be the focus. 1 to 2 years in our warehouse achieves the best balance.

77 Whiskey – Bonded Series
Like all the 77 Whiskeys, these were produced using a Coffey style still, known to produce a softer, sweeter spirit. Each is distilled and aged in 53-gallon barrels for a minimum of 4 years. To meet the more stringent requirements to be labeled Bottled in Bond, the series was distilled in one season (no blending between vintages), by one distiller, aged at least 4 years, and bottled at 100 proof (50% alc/vol). The final requirement for Bottled in Bond is the DSP must be listed on the bottle. After all the hard work and waiting we put into making this whiskey from scratch, we’re very proud to list our own DSP on the label.
Bonded Rye and Corn – 90% rye and 10% corn release date October 1, 2017
Bonded Rye – 100% rye mash release date mid to late October 2017
Our original gin recipe— distilled from wheat grown in New York in such a way to retain the honey and buttery characteristics of the grain. We redistill our base spirit individually in batches with juniper, fresh lemon peel, fresh grapefruit peel, ginger and fresh rosemary. This method captures the unique qualities of each botanical.
Glorious Gin: Oaked
We’ve been experimenting with ‘resting’ our Glorious Gin in oak barrels since 2011. Over that time we have produced 4 unique batches, each with a different oak treatment. Our original formula picks up notes of vanilla, baking spices, and a warmth from its time in oak. We will continue to tinker with our process until we find the perfect aging method.
